A Clear Message
As Margaret Brennan hosted CBS Evening News in place of Norah O’Donnell on Friday, November 4, 2023, Errol Barnett, though reporting on the criminal fraud case against Sam Bankman-Fried, former CEO of FTX, “a clear message” was sent out to all fraudsters stated by U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, “This case should send a clear message to anyone who tries to hide their crimes behind a shiny new thing they claim no one else is smart enough to understand.”
In the same news reporting, U.S. Attorney General for the Southern District of New York, Damian Williams says, “…To every single fraudster out there who thinks that they’re untouchable or that their crimes are to complex for us to catch—those folks should think again. I promise we’ll have enough handcuffs for all of them.”
On the same topic, NBC Evening News with Lester Holt, reporter Kate Rooney, CNBC Technology Report, in her report, U.S. Attorney General for the Southern District of New York, Damian Williams says, “…The Crypto Currency Industry might be new—the players like Sam Bankman-Fried might be new—but this kind of fraud—this kind of corruption—is as old as time.”
COMMITTING FRAUD IS AS OLD AS TIME!
State Attorneys in the state of Florida need to have term limits in the Office of the State Attorney. Florida’s Second Judicial Circuit has been kidnapping African-American boys and men while committing fraud for over fifty years—under the Meggs and Campbell regime. Their corruption involved the kidnapping and molesting an innocent African-American child and imprisoning that child while committing fraud. And then robbing that child’s mother out of thousands of dollars. Evil people do not deserve immunity. Term limits in the Office of the State Attorney will bring justice to the justice system.
