Tallahassee, FL—In less than a month of Dawuan Najee Williams’ apprehension by the U.S. Marshal’s Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force on two separate warrants in Tallahassee/ Leon County for armed bank robbery, ASA Jack Campbell, along with State Attorney Investigator Jason Newlin made deals with Mr. Williams, who had already been convicted of several felonies. Mr. Williams was released from the Leon County Jail, which was under the operation of Jack Campbell’s dad at the time, former Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell. Upon Mr. Williams’ released, Mr. Williams received money and other provisions from State Attorney Willie Meggs’ Office and the Leon County Sheriff’s Office. When Mr. Williams’ money ran out, Mr. Williams returned to the life of crime in another county, and was again arrested.

However, with Jack Campbell in debited to Mr. Williams, Jack Campbell and former Second Judicial Circuit Judge Jackie Fulford pacified Mr. Williams’ with special provisions.

Mr. Williams may not have been involved in the latest shooting of Deputy U.S. Marshal in Georgia, but like the fugitive who claimed the life of U.S. Deputy Commander Patrick Carothers, Mr. Williams too had an extensive criminal history.

 

THE NEED TO FULFILL FORMER LEON COUNTY SHERIFF LARRY CAMPBELL’S DYING WISH MAY HAVE COST LEON COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTY CHRIS SMITH HIS LIFE

Once again, since mid-November 2014, the wife and children of fallen Leon County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Smith will be forced to brace themselves as they try to move through the holiday season without him. Seemingly, former Deputy Chris Smith’s death may have been avoided had there been checks and balances within the Leon County Sheriff’s Office.

In 2012, shortly after then Leon County Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Campbell was re-elected into office, Sheriff Campbell announced that his cancer had returned. Many within Sheriff Campbell’s inner circle may have known that it was Sheriff Larry Campbell’s wish to die while in office.

Fast forward to the mid-morning hours of November 22, 2014, the day when media reports stated that Leon County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Smith and Leon County Sheriff’s Deputy Colin Wulfekuhl were ambushed by a lone gunman known as having been a threat to law enforcement officers and first responders. Deputy Chris Smith was killed. And Tallahassee first responders were kept away from the immediate scene.

Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell did not make an appearance or hold a press conference until 24 hours after Deputy Chris Smith’s murder. At the press conference, a spokesman for the Leon County Sheriff’s Office spoke the most, while Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell leaned back against the wall for support. Sheriff Larry Campbell appeared to have been dressed by someone else or with assistance. Sheriff Larry Campbell also appeared very frail, his slurred words were inaudible. Deputy Chris Smith’s death revealed Sheriff Larry Campbell’s severe lack (possibly absence due to battle with cancer) in leadership at the Leon County Sheriff’s Office. Governor Rick Scott, whose governor’s mansion is located within two miles from the Leon County Sheriff’s Office and the Leon County Courthouse, did not come to the press conference to speak with the media. According to reports, no one including Jack Campbell informed Governor Rick Scott of Sheriff Campbell’s failing health.

The next month, in December 2014, Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell died. Sheriff Larry Campbell’s wish to die in office was fulfilled, but with an extremely high price.

 

THE NEED TO FULFILL STATE ATTORNEY WILLIE MEGGS’ WISH AND FORMER LEON COUNTY SHERIFF LARRY CAMPBELL’S DYING WISH HAS ALREADY COST LEON COUNTY CITIZENS INJUSTICE

Many Tallahasseans know that State Attorney Willie Meggs has been grooming State Attorney Jack Campbell to be his successor after his retirement. State Attorney Willie Meggs has been in office for more than 30 years. In 2001, Jack Campbell began working for Willie Meggs as an assistant state attorney, while Willie Meggs’ son and daughter worked for Jack Campbell’s dad, Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell as sheriff’s deputies. State Attorney Willie Meggs assigned Jack Campbell to prosecute many cases that were being investigated by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office. Jack Campbell, a native of Tallahassee, along with his dad, and State Attorney Willie Meggs’ and the Meggs family, have high terroristic like influence over the citizens in Tallahassee/ Leon County. Jack Campbell used many of his dad’s employees at the Leon County Sheriff’s Office to commit perjury and smuggle contraband into the Leon County Jail, and Jack Campbell has had Dr. Anthony J. Clark with the District Two Medical Examiner’s Office, (who may be affiliated with Tallahassee Memorial Hospital) to commit perjury –in order to secure conviction. The Florida Bar and the Commissions on Ethics have dismissed complaints against Jack Campbell. The complaints filed against Jack Campbell were similar complaints that have led to the disbarment and/or public reprimand of other attorneys in Florida.

A lot of college students fear going to the police due to becoming victims of the very judicial system that is supposed to be in place to protect them. Both Tallahassee Defense Attorneys Sean Desmond (Democrat) and Pete Williams (Republican) were failed by The Florida Bar as contenders to Florida’s 2nd Judicial State Attorney’s Office that would have lifted the decades old”terror threat / attack” off of many citizens in Leon County.

Jack Campbell is supposed to take office as Florida’s 2^nd Judicial State Attorney in January 2017 after having been elected—though losing to voters in Tallahassee. In the videos section on this page is a video of Jack Campbell admitting to ordering judges to appoint certain attorneys of his own selection to cases, and manipulating the pay codes with Public Defender Nancy Daniels to have those attorneys receive pay. The message Jack Campbell has sent to hundreds of local attorneys is that if you’re not one of his “favorites” or if you don’t “wheel and deal” with him, then you won’t feed your family, because The Florida Bar and no one else will protect you no matter what.

State Attorneys and Assistant State Attorneys who make deals with violent criminals put law enforcement officers and ordinary citizens lives in danger. Willie Meggs, the late Larry Campbell and his son Jack Campbell have shown time and time again that protecting law enforcement officers and ordinary citizens was/is not priority on their agendas—just their own “power trip.”

FYI: Sean Desmond and Mr. Pete Williams are victims of The Florida Bar. Jack Campbell should have never been allowed to run for State Attorney. This is how The Florida Bar victimizes its own members. Members are paying to be victimized. Jack Campbell has had Ethics Complaints and complaints filed with The Florida Bar against him. Both agencies have chosen to wash the complaints basically calling the complaints unfounded. This is an example of how the special favors go out to those with the most ties–Jack Campbell’s daddy was the Tallahassee’s (Leon County) Sheriff for over a decade–coupled with Willie Meggs specials. Tallahassee,FL—Forget protecting innocent children from being sent to adult prisons. Forget asking the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to investigate rogue law enforcement officials. Forget the whole “If you see something, say something” campaign launched by the Department of Homeland Security to encourage citizens in their communities to work together with their local law enforcement official to protect everyone. Forget all of the hundreds of full-time law abiding veteran law enforcement officials who specifically spent their whole life avoiding getting involved in criminal acts so that they could have a highly prosperous career as a bonafide law enforcement official under great leadership. Forget all of them!

Why?

First of all there was absolutely nothing great about Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell. Second, Governor Rick Scott chose not to get involved while former Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell and his son 2^nd Judicial Circuit Assistant State Attorney Jack Campbell, along with 2^nd Judicial Circuit State Attorney Willie Meggs and 2^nd Judicial Circuit Judge James C. Hankinson conspired together against a black youth. Seventeen-year-old, DeShon Thomas, who was a freshman at Tallahassee Community College, was charged in 2011 with Two Counts of First Degree Murder, Possession of a Firearm by a Juvenile Delinquent and Solicitation to Commit 1^st Degree Murder. Governor Rick Scott was informed about the possibility of a conspiracy to railroaded DeShon into prison. Some of those named in the conspiracy were Circuit Judge James C. Hankinson and Jack Campbell. Governor Rick Scott claimed to not have gotten involved. However, almost instantly Circuit Judge James C. Hankinson was off of DeShon’s case. Circuit Judge James C. Hankinson had been presiding over DeShon’s case for more than 2 years as DeShon’s court process was a more like a “circus” performance.

The tracks were set for DeShon to be sent to prison when seemingly nobody in the legislature—not even judges—reached out to help then Sheriff Larry Campbell and his son Assistant State Attorney Jack Campbell truly understand the unethical and immoral actions of an elected official (Larry Campbell) arresting citizens and his son (Jack Campbell) prosecuting the same citizens. This father/son team worked Tallahassee judicial system for more than a decade. This instilled fear in a lot of people—including defense attorneys and witnesses. Of course other officials that were either willing or were not aware of their wrongdoings played a role—the majority many of Jack Campbell’s witnesses were law enforcement officials who worked for his dad.

In December 2014, Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell passed away. The following month, Governor Rick Scott overlooked hundreds of qualified veterans within the Leon County Sheriff’s Office and appointed Mike Woods, as sheriff. A native of Tallahassee, as a 19-year-old, Mike Wood was the younger brother of a Leon County Sheriff’s Deputy when he was arrested on criminal drug charges. After getting his record expunged, Mike Wood became a Leon County Sheriff’s Deputy. According to reports at the time of Sheriff Larry Campbell’s death, Mike Wood had served 30 years as a Leon County Sheriff’s Deputy and was retired. Why Governor Rick Scott appointed Mike Wood, a Democrat, over all of those hard working bonafide sheriff’s majors/deputies is simple—Mike Wood was Sheriff Larry Campbell’s favorite cadet. And because so many people have been groomed to yield to State Attorney Willie Meggs, Sheriff Larry Campbell and his son Jack Campbell, it was Governor Rick Scott’s duty to yield to Sheriff Larry Campbell’s wishes—to have Mike Wood as sheriff. It was the same yielding to Sheriff Larry Campbell that may have played a major role in the ambush murder of Leon County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Smith.

On Tuesday night, Governor Rick Scott’s criminal appointee, Leon County Sheriff Mike Wood, who changed his party to Non-Affiliate, lost miserably to Walt McNeil, a Democrat.

Tallahassee, FL—Democratic candidate, Jack Campbell, the son of former Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell, has been elected Florida’s 2^nd Judicial Circuit State Attorney.  In the primary, Jack Campbell lost the Democratic vote in Leon County, but defeated his rival Democratic candidate Sean Desmond. Jack Campbell won the race on Tuesday night with the benefit of Leon County being a majority Democratic county. Pete Williams, a Republican who sought to defeat Jack Campbell, hoped to get Democrats to vote outside of their party, but with Leon County being the biggest and the only Democratic county out of the six counties that make up the 2^nd Judicial Circuit, the majority of Democrats must have down voted Democrats on their ballots, thus, giving Jack Campbell the win. Jack Campbell is set to replace long serving Democrat State Attorney Willie Meggs. Jack Campbell, who has worked his entire fifteen year legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for Willie Meggs, has been pacified and well protected for many years by Leon County Sheriff’s Deputies, Leon County Judges, 2^nd Judicial Circuit Judges and The Florida Bar.

State Attorney Willie Meggs’ son and daughter worked directly under former Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell, about the same time as State Attorney Willie Meggs was grooming his protégé Jack Campbell. For more than two decades State Attorney Willie Meggs and former Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell governed Tallahassee citizens by instilling fear and intimidation to all of those who challenged the law. Inside of a courtroom at the Leon County Courthouse, Assistant State’s Attorney Jack Campbell ordered county and circuit judges to appoint attorneys that he himself hand-selected to represent inmates who’d agreed to help him plot against other inmates. These attorneys, who were paid for with taxpayer dollars, were improperly assigned cases to which they were not supposed to be assigned, but were in fear of speaking out against Jack Campbell and all of the judges who agreed to bypass proper court procedures. All sides of the courtroom operated according to Jack Campbell’s direction. Long serving Public Defender Lead Nancy Daniels worked with Jack Campbell by manipulating the pay codes to ensure attorneys otherwise not allowed to work cases outside of their scope were paid. This underhanded way of court procedure was not just unfair to defendants, but it was also unfair to the hundreds of attorneys who were being violated by judges in order to move Jack Campbell forward in his career. When Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was informed of judges and prosecutorial misconduct occurring in the courtrooms of Leon County under Jack Campbell’s direction, Attorney General Pam Bondi deferred the complaint to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Jack Campbell admitted to being the source of a murder plot against one of his own key witnesses when there was concern about the witness not providing testimony in the double murder trial against Tallahassee Community College freshman DeShon Thomas. At the age of 17-years-old, DeShon Thomas was hastily arrested by “Leon County Sheriff’s Detective Don Odham” and charged with Two Counts of 1^st Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Juvenile Delinquent. A few months after DeShon’s arrest, DeShon’s mother started receiving text messages on one of her cell phones from a number that she did not recognize. The text messages were about murdering the one and only witness against DeShon. For about two weeks the same text messages continued to come to DeShon’s mother’s cell phone. By then, DeShon’s mother learned that State Attorney Willie Meggs had assigned Jack Campbell to prosecute the case against DeShon, and as a single mother, she was extremely concerned about DeShon’s safety inside of the Leon County Jail which was operated by Jack Campbell’s dad, as well as the safety for her and her other children. Prior to the threatening text messages coming to her cell phone, it was just a rumor to her about the threats and the intimidation that spewed out of State Attorney Willie Meggs and the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, now it was her reality. The only three new contacts that she had provided that particular cell phone number to was the Leon County Sheriff’s Office (specifically Detective Don Odham), the Public Defender’s Office and DeShon’s defense attorney Greg Cummings. Though some would think that a mother would want the only witness against her son murdered, not DeShon’s mother because DeShon’s mother knows better. Besides, she’d already talked to the young man, and she knew his fears of Detective Don Odham. After DeShon’s mother had several discussions with Greg Cummings, the text messages stopped. Every criminal case that was under the jurisdiction of the Leon County Sheriff’s Office and being prosecuted by Jack Campbell clearly opened up the judicial system to be used as a pit for the Campbell family to spar off against defendants’ families. Jack Campbell, whose dreams were set on some day becoming state’s attorney, won convictions by all means necessary—including having sheriff’s deputies and a doctor commit perjury, and using a law enforcement imposter– Leon County Sheriff’s Detective Don Odham to provide trail testimony.

Over a year and a half, DeShon’s mother became very suspicious about the communication between Greg Cummings and Jack Campbell. State Attorney Willie Meggs’ Office refused to allow the District Two Medical Examiner’s Office to release the victims’ autopsy reports into Public Record. Greg Cummings refused to discuss the victims autopsy reports with DeShon and refused to provided DeShon and/or DeShon’s mother with a copy of the victims’ autopsy reports. After paying Greg Cummings nearly $30,000, DeShon’s mother filed a complaint with The Florida Bar against Greg Cummings, and told DeShon to fire him. Eventually, DeShon’s mother filed a complaint with The Florida Bar against Jack Campbell. Despite Greg Cummings having admitted to having violated The Florida Bar rules, The Florida Bar has failed to hold him accountable; choosing not to settle the matter. In regards to Jack Campbell, The Florida Bar continues to protect him, despite plotting a murder hit. DeShon was convicted and has been incarcerated for nearly six years. DeShon is INNOCENT!

Being a registered Democrat led to Jack Campbell’s positioning to become 2^nd Judicial Circuit State Attorney, but being a criminal will lead to his downfall and many of those in his circle, including those who continue to protect him and enable him to commit criminal acts. No matter how much time DeShon, an INNOCENT child (now young man) sits in prison—separated from his family, Jack Campbell and his enablers are still losers! The one thing that Florida Governor Rick Scott, a Republican, has taught many elected officials is to not speak when the deck is stacked against you. But the reality is there is no statute of limitations on a federal offense.

Tallahassee, FL—What kind of career path as one of Florida’s 2^nd Judicial Assistant State’s Attorney/Prosecutor did The Florida Bar anticipate Jack Campbell would have knowing the possibility of him prosecuting criminal cases under the investigative jurisdiction of his daddy, Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell, an elected county official?

Before Larry Campbell was elected as Leon County Sheriff back in 1996, Larry Campbell had already clocked over 25 years of time spent at various agencies in the Tallahassee area, including with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement alongside his good buddy, former FDLE Commissioner Gerald Bailey. Larry Campbell’s longtime law enforcement service bonded him with another local elected official, 2^nd Judicial Circuit State Attorney Willie Meggs. Together both Larry Campbell and Willie Meggs formed and executed plans to groom their sons to rule Tallahassee without any concerns of law and order.

In 2001, Jack Campbell, who was in his late twenties, was logged into The Florida Bar and went on to work for 2^nd Judicial State Attorney Willie Meggs. The Florida Bar, the organization that regulates all licensed attorneys in the state of Florida, is located two blocks east of the Leon County Courthouse, which is where 2^nd Judicial State Attorney Willie Meggs’ main office is housed. According to reports, Jack Campbell had previously been charged with Driving While Under the Influence and was placed on probation by the Florida Bar and was not supposed to practice law.

Did 2^nd Judicial State Attorney Willie Meggs and the late Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell knowingly support Jack Campbell’s prosecution of criminal cases knowing that The Florida Bar had not cleared him to do so?

Constitutional, state and local laws are written to apply to everyone regardless of race, gender, relationship, religion and creed. Under oath, State Attorney Willie Meggs and the late Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell swore to uphold all constitutional, state and local laws, and to protect all citizens in Leon County and the five surrounding counties.

In 2013, The Florida Bar received a complaint against Jack Campbell in regards to numerous violations written out in plain language on its website. Instead of sufficiently addressing the complaint, The Florida Bar dismissed the complaint—thus, not wanting to abide by its own rules. Sadly, it seems that in order for The Florida Bar to acknowledge a complaint against Jack Campbell, would be equivalent to them acknowledging that they failed the citizens in Florida’s 2^nd Judicial Circuit—which would be like having their own ticking time bomb blow up in their faces.

Today, with 2^nd Judicial Circuit State Attorney Willie Meggs’ upcoming retirement, Jack Campbell is seeking to be elected the next Florida’s 2^nd Judicial Circuit State Attorney. In a recent forum held by the Tallahassee Democrat, 2^nd Judicial Circuit State Attorney candidates, Jack Campbell and Pete Williams, the moderators asked several questions about past, present, and future events to come that would affect the citizens in Tallahassee/Leon County and the other five counties that make up the 2^nd Judicial Circuit.

Disgustingly, and in such a cavalier tone—a tone that one would speak in after being questioned by their wife about not leaving a tip on the table for the waitress who provided excellent service at a restaurant after eating and enjoying their meals—Jack Campbell accepted responsibility for playing softball, allowing “Restorative Justice” to play a role in the cold-blooded murder case of 18-year-old Ann Grosmaire. For those who are not familiar with Ms. Ann Grosmaire’s case, this young girl was an emotional wreck—on her hands and knees, crying and pleading for her life—when her boyfriend put a shotgun to her face and pulled the trigger and blew her brains out! Restorative Justice is what is used to resolve high school disputes over property—not cold-blooded murder! Did State Attorney Willie Meggs and all of his years as a “Tough Prosecutor” groom his chief Assistant State’s Attorney Jack Campbell to see women as property and not human beings?

The Tallahassee Democrat recorded: “Jack Campbell said he hoped to take Meggs’ teachings on making tough prosecutorial decisions his own: the facts are either there or they’re not.”

In Ann Grosmaire’s cold-blooded murder case, the fact of the matter was that her 19-year-old boyfriend/murderer, Conor McBride, had anger management problems coupled with a history of being abusive towards Ann—a fact that Ann’s parents did not know existed until well after Conor McBride’s arrest. However, State Attorney Willie Meggs and Chief Assistant State Attorney Jack Campbell had been well informed about Conor McBride’s history and the events that led up to Ann’s final moments of life.

There are far too many cases in Tallahassee where women and children have been/ are being victimized by both perpetrators and State Attorney Willie Meggs’, along with some Meggs’ top employees such as Jack Campbell, Georgia Cappleman, and Eric Trombley. While Governor Rick Scott and Attorney General Pam Bondi have chosen to look the other way while victims like Ansley Rayborn, Lance Love, and Cornellius Poole, and so many others continue to mount, it’s just a matter of time before The Florida Bar’s ‘ticking time bomb,’ Jack Campbell, explodes!

Tallahassee, FL—Before Hurricane Hermine’s devastation struck the Big Bend area, in January 2015, Governor Rick Scott may have “Punked” interim Leon County Sheriff Robert Swearingen out of his position in order to appoint Mike Wood as Leon County Sheriff. Robert Swearingen, the twin brother of Rick Swearingen—Commissioner at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and cousin to Pamela Marsh, former U.S. Attorney of Florida’s Northern District had decades of experience.  The changing of Leon County Sheriff came following the December 24, 2014 death of longtime serving Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell. In a January 8, 2015 interview (about two weeks after being appointed interim Leon County Sheriff), in regards to Governor Rick Scott appointing him as Interim Leon County Sheriff, Interim Leon County Sheriff Robert Swearingen told Tallahassee’s local news station WTXL, an ABC news affiliate, in part, “I was quite honored and very honored…”  Interim Leon County Sheriff Robert Swearingen, a native of Massachusetts, had been with the Leon County Sheriff’s Office for nearly decades—of that time Sheriff Larry Campbell was his boss for 16 years—up until Sheriff Campbell’s death. A month before and weeks thereafter Sheriff Larry Campbell’s death, Interim Leon County Sheriff Robert Swearingen took a lot of heat in regards to the “finger pointing” between the Leon County Sheriff’s Office and the Consolidated Dispatch Service after two Leon County Sheriff’s Deputies were ambushed by gunfire in November 2014 inside of what was supposed to have been identified as a “Hot Zone.”  As reported, the gunman, who lived in the neighborhood had previously threatened to harm Leon County Sheriff’s Deputies and first responders. Unfortunately, as reported Deputy Christopher Smith and Deputy Colin Wulfekuhl were not made aware of the “Hot Zone” and were struck by the gunfire.  Leon County Sheriff’s Deputy Christopher Smith died, leaving behind a wife and two children. Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell was nowhere to be found—well, Sheriff Larry Campbell did not address the media until over 24 hours after the ambush. And when Sheriff Larry Campbell finally appeared, he looked pale and very frail—extremely ill. Possibly the dream of Sheriff Larry Campbell to die in office left the Leon County Sheriff’s position in limbo—clearly, the deputies’ being ambushed was due to a lack of communication–somewhere. Seventeen days after Interim Leon County Sheriff Robert Swearingen told WTXL about the future he’d planned for the more than 700 member agency (Leon County Sheriff’s Office), Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Michael Wood as “Undersheriff Michael Wood as Leon County Sheriff.”

Michael Wood was not an “Undersheriff,” at the Leon County Sheriff’s Office or anywhere else for that matter. In fact, months earlier, Michael Woods had retired from the Leon County Sheriff’s Office and was not on the Leon County Sheriff’s Office payroll at the time of Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell’s death. After Sheriff Mike Wood’s special appointment by Governor Rick Scott, in an interview with the Tallahassee Democrat, while discussing his law enforcement experience, in part, Sheriff Wood does not claim to have ever held the position “Undersheriff with the Leon County Sheriff’s Office.”  Everyone, including Sheriff Larry Campbell’s wife, was aware that it was Sheriff Larry Campbell’s dream to name Mike Wood as undersheriff, but only after Mike Wood’s stayed retired as required by the D.R.O.P Program before being allowed to return to the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, which would’ve been in January 2015. But Sheriff Larry Campbell died on December 24, 2014. Simply put Governor Scott “Punked” Interim Leon County Sheriff Robert Swearingen out of his position as sheriff and replaced him with a civilian who has a criminal drug record.

Almost two years before it took ambulances nearly 19 minutes to reach the home of FSU Law Professor Dan Markel, it was reported that Leon County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Smith and Leon County Sheriff’s Deputy Colin Wulfekuhl responded to a call regarding a house fire. Unfortunately, Deputy Smith’s response would be his last. You see, according to reports the house fire was deliberately set by a deranged man who’d let it be known to other law enforcement officers, including Leon County Sheriff’s Sergeant Wiley Meggs, that he was anti-law enforcement, which meant that the deranged man’s home address was supposedly to be listed as some type of hot zone. The deranged man’s address was either not listed as a hot zone or somebody forgot to list it as a hot zone, either way nobody warned Deputy Chris Smith or Deputy Colin Wulfekuhl. According to reports the two deputies were ambushed by gunfire coming from the deranged man’s gun. Deputy Colin Wulfekuhl received a gunshot wound, and Deputy Chris Smith was killed. It took over 24 hours for then Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell to address the media.

In December 2015, as people around the world were hanging up Christmas trees and shopping for special gifts to give to their loved ones, on one hand the wife of Deputy Chris Smith was preparing her children to spend their first Christmas without their father. And on the other hand, she was allowing her attorney to file lawsuits against Consolidated Dispatch Agency and Motorola.

In August 2016, it was reported that Consolidated Dispatch Agency settled a lawsuit with the family of Florida State University Law Professor Dan Markel. Currently, Leon County Sheriff Mike Wood, who was appointed as sheriff by Governor Rick Scott in January 2015, is one of three members on the board for the Consolidated Dispatch Agency. Tallahassee, FL—In 2014, Tallahassee, Florida made history by approving the first city Anti-Corruption Act with an overwhelming vote of at least 65% of the city’s citizens. That same year, Tallahassee elected Andrew Gillum, an African-American member of the Democratic Party. Mayor Gillum’s goals in part are to build a trusting relationship between local government and communities, and to move Tallahassee forward into the 21^st Century. Mayor Gillum realizes that building that relationship and moving Tallahassee forward will happen—and will happen with bumps and bruises. But in the end, Tallahassee citizens will be able to stand on their own, walk on their own and utilize the skills that they possess on their own.

During the aftermath of Hurricane Hermine, Governor Scott completely disrespected Mayor Andrew Gillum and the citizens of Tallahassee. However, this was not the first time Governor Scott or someone from Governor Scott’s office has acted out disrespectfully. Governor Scott has been proven to be a LIAR time and time again, even before being elected into office.

In mid-December 2014, Florida Department of Law Enforcement Commissioner Gerald Bailey claims that Governor Scott’s office gave him the choice to resign or be fired; Governor Scott pretended to be dumbfounded by it all. Scott immediately appointed the Director of Capitol Police Rick Swearingen as FDLE Commissioner. Later that same month, on December 24, 2014 Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell died from lung cancer. Governor Scott appointed Leon County Sheriff’s Captain Robert Swearingen as interim sheriff. Robert Swearingen is the twin brother of Rick Swearingen.

In January 2015, less than a month after Sheriff Campbell’s death, Governor Scott appointed Michael Wood as Leon County Sheriff. Governor Scott announced Michael Wood as “Undersheriff Michael Wood as Leon County Sheriff.” Michael Wood was not the “undersheriff.” In fact, Michael Wood was not on the payroll at the Leon County Sheriff’s Office at the time of Sheriff Larry Campbell’s death. Major Michael Wood retired from the Leon County Sheriff’s in late June or early July 2014. According to an article in the Tallahassee Democrat, Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell never appointed Michael Wood as his “undersheriff.”

Florida’s Republican Governor Rick Scott is a LIAR! Governor Scott came into office as a LIAR and continues to LIE and inspire others to LIE. Governor Scott, Attorney General Pam Bondi and Florida’s 2^nd Judicial Circuit State Attorney Willie Meggs, along with Assistant State Attorney Jack Campbell and others are proven LIARS. Tallahassee parents who have raised their children in Tallahassee are also encouraging their children to move out of Tallahassee due to the widespread embedded unethical misconduct within the local government agencies—Tallahassee’s biggest employer. Many students that move to Tallahassee to attend college get their degree and move away from Tallahassee. Many students fear the widespread embedded unethical acts of misconduct within law enforcement, the judicial system and other local government agencies.

Currently, John Emmett “Jack” Campbell is running on the Democratic ticket to become the next 2^nd Judicial Circuit State Attorney. Jack Campbell, who is currently an Assistant State Attorney for Willie Meggs, is the son of former Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell. For many years Tallahassee citizens have lived under the intimidation and bullying of Sheriff Larry Campbell and State Attorney Willie Meggs who strong-handedly showed citizens and college students alike that if they speak out against Sheriff Larry Campbell or State Attorney Willie Meggs and their operation, then they will retaliate against them. Sheriff Campbell and State Attorney Meggs’ internal working relationships with the local FBI, FDLE, District Two Medical Examiner’s Office, Public Defender’s office and other government agencies with unlimited dollar amounts makes any act of retaliation possible. There is nothing beneath Meggs’ and his assistant state attorneys mode of operation to gain convictions against children and adults. Georgia Cappleman and Jack Campbell introduced a Campbell family friend to jurors as a Leon County Sheriff’s Detective—the man was not even on the payroll and had never been an employee with the Leon County Sheriff’s Office. A criminal defense attorney admitted to being in fear of a judge, yet, failed to report his fears to The Florida Bar. Another criminal defense attorney admitted that Jack Campbell was conducting in prosecutorial misconduct, yet, failed to report him to The Florida Bar. By the way, The Florida Bar is headquartered in Tallahassee. Jackie Fulford, a former assistant state attorney for Willie Meggs was appointed to the bench as a second judicial circuit judge—a few years later she was found to show ‘a pattern of unethical misconduct’ by the Judicial Qualifications Commission. Fortunately, she is no longer on the bench. Meggs’ employees seem to show a pattern of unethical misconduct. This is why Tallahassee citizens should not vote to elect Jack Campbell as 2^nd Judicial State Attorney. Tallahassee citizens need fresh relationships to know that they matter.

Mayor Andrew Gillum has the responsibility of what occurs in Tallahassee on his shoulders. In order to move Tallahassee forward–LIARS need to be out from leading government agencies.
